Albato Integration

Poper's integration with Albato, a powerful automation platform, allows you to seamlessly connect lead capture from your Poper popups with various tools and services in your workflow. This guide will walk you through setting up the Poper and Albato integration to automatically send leads captured through your popups to Albato for further processing.

Prerequisites

A Poper account with an active popup campaign.
An Albato account.

Setting Up the Integration

Access Your Poper Popup

Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Albato.

Create a New Albato Automation


Head over to your Albato account and start by creating a new Automation. This Automation will define the workflow triggered by new leads from your Poper popup.

Add the Poper Trigger


Within your new Albato Automation, click the "Add Trigger" button. Search for the "Poper" integration in the list and select it. If you do not see Poper in the list, then you can use this Link to get invited to use it. Its expected to be public by 24th June 2024.

Choose the "New Lead" Trigger


From the Poper trigger options, select "New Lead." This will initiate the automation whenever a new lead submits their information through your Poper popup.

Connect Albato and Poper with a Webhook


Click on "Add new connection" within the Albato trigger. This will generate a unique webhook URL that Albato will use to receive lead data from Poper.

Copy the Webhook URL and Set Albato to Wait


Copy the generated webhook URL from Albato. Then, click on "Continue" within the Albato trigger configuration. Albato will now display the webhook URL again. Click on the "Wait for webhook" button to instruct Albato to wait for incoming lead data from Poper.

Configure the Webhook Connection in Poper

Switch back to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the Integrations tab within your chosen popup. Select "Webhook" from the integration options.

Add a Name and Paste the Webhook URL


Here, provide a clear name for your webhook connection (e.g., Albato Lead Capture). Paste the copied webhook URL from Albato into the URL field in Poper. Finally, click "Connect" to establish the connection.

Complete the Integration


Once you click "Connect" in Poper, the integration is complete! Albato will now automatically receive lead data whenever a user submits a form on your Poper popup.

Testing the Integration


You can now send a sample lead from your website through the integrated popup to verify that Albato successfully captures it. This will allow you to confirm the functionality of the integration before relying on it for live lead capture.
