Beehiiv Integration

Expand your email marketing reach by integrating Poper's powerful popups with Beehiiv, a user-friendly email marketing platform. This guide will walk you through connecting Poper and Beehiiv, ensuring leads captured through your popups are effortlessly added to your chosen Beehiiv lists.

Prerequisites:

  • A Poper account with an active popup campaign.
  • A Beehiiv account.
  • An API key for your Beehiiv account. You can generate a new API key by navigating to your Profile > Integrations > API within your Beehiiv account and clicking "Generate a new Key."
  • Publication ID from Beehiiv. You can find your Publication ID on the same Profile > Integrations > API page within Beehiiv.

Setting Up the Poper and Beehiiv Integration:

Edit Your Poper Popup:

Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Beehiiv.

Open Integrations Tab:

On the left side of the popup editor, locate the "Integrations" tab and click on it.

Select Beehiiv Integration:

From the list of available integrations, choose "Beehiiv."

Name Your Connection:

Provide a clear name for your Beehiiv connection (e.g., Beehiiv Leads). This will help you identify it later.

Enter Beehiiv Credentials:

In the designated fields, paste your Beehiiv Publication ID and API key that you obtained from your account settings.

Click "Next." Once you've entered your credentials, click the "Next" button to proceed.

Map Poper Fields to Beehiiv:

This step allows you to match the data fields collected in your Poper popup form with the corresponding fields in your Beehiiv subscriber list. Use the dropdown menus to map each Poper field (e.g., email, name) to the appropriate Beehiiv field.

(Optional) Customize Field Mapping:

If your Beehiiv list has custom fields, you can define how Poper should populate those fields with data captured in your popup form.

Click "Connect." After completing the field mapping (and any custom field definitions), click the "Connect" button to establish the integration between Poper and Beehiiv.

Test the Integration:

To verify the functionality of the integration, click the "Test Connection" button within Poper. This will send a sample request to Beehiiv, simulating a subscriber signup. Check your Beehiiv account to confirm that the test subscriber was successfully added to your chosen list.

Congratulations! With the Poper and Beehiiv integration successfully set up, leads who submit their information through your Poper popup will be automatically added to your designated Beehiiv list. This allows you to nurture them with targeted email marketing campaigns and seamlessly grow your audience.
