Bento Integration

This document provides a step-by-step guide on integrating Poper, a popup creation tool, with Bento, an email marketing platform, to seamlessly capture new leads from popups and add them as subscribers in Bento.

Prerequisites:

Access to both Poper and Bento accounts.

Permission to manage integrations in both platforms.

Integration Steps:

Login to Poper Account:

Visit the Poper website and log in to your account using your credentials.

Open Popup:


Navigate to the popup that you wish to connect to Bento within your Poper dashboard.

Access Integrations:


Within the settings or editing options for the selected popup, find and click on the "Integrations" tab or option.

Select Bento:


From the list of available integrations, locate and select "Bento."

Enter Bento Credentials:


You'll be prompted to enter the following details:

  1. Publishable Key (Found in Bento Account Settings > API Keys)
  2. Secret Key (Found in Bento Account Settings > API Keys)
  3. Site UUID (Found in Bento Account Settings)

If you've already added these details before, you may select them from the available options.

Connect to Bento:


After entering the required details, click on the "Connect" button to establish the integration between Poper and Bento.

Update Popup:


Once the connection is successful, click on the "Update Popup" button to save the changes and activate the Bento integration for the selected popup.

Testing the Integration:

Add New Email:


Go to the live version of your popup or preview it within Poper.

Input a new email address into the designated field within the popup.

Verify in Bento:


Access your Bento account and navigate to the subscriber list or dashboard.

Check if the email address you entered in the popup is successfully added as a new subscriber in Bento.
