Enginemailer Integration

This guide will show you how to integrate Enginemailer, your email marketing platform, with Poper, your lead capture popup builder. This integration allows you to effortlessly add leads captured through your Poper popups directly to your Enginemailer subscriber lists, streamlining your email marketing workflow and nurturing your leads efficiently.

Prerequisites:

  • A Poper account (free plan available)
  • An Enginemailer account
  • An Enginemailer API key (refer to Enginemailer's documentation for obtaining your API key)

Steps:

Access and Edit Your Poper Popup: 



Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Enginemailer.

Open the Integrations Menu: 



On the left-hand navigation bar, locate the "Integrations" tab (represented by a link icon) and click on it.

Find the Enginemailer Integration: 



Within the search bar of the integrations menu, type in "Enginemailer" and select the option that corresponds with the Enginemailer logo.

Name Your Integration: 



Provide a clear and descriptive name for your integration (e.g., "Poper Leads to Enginemailer"). Enter your API key obtained from Enginemailer's platform (refer to their documentation for specific instructions) Click the "Next" button to proceed.

Map Popup Fields to Enginemailer: 



You'll now see a mapping screen. Here, you'll match the data points captured by your Poper popup form fields with the corresponding subscriber information fields in Enginemailer. Use the dropdown menus to select the appropriate platform key (Enginemailer field) for each input field in your popup (e.g.,email address for Enginemailer's "Email" field).

Add Custom Fields (Optional): 



If your Poper popup captures data that doesn't have a direct equivalent in Enginemailer's standard subscriber information fields (e.g., name), you can add custom fields. Click the "Add Another Attribute" button and define the custom field name in Enginemailer to match the corresponding field in your Poper form.
Important Note: Ensure the platform key (Enginemailer field) you choose actually exists in your Enginemailer account.If a matching field doesn't exist, you won't be able to transfer that specific data point.

Complete the Integration: 



Once you've finished mapping all the fields, click the "Connect" button. If the configuration is successful, you'll see a confirmation message indicating a successful integration.

Test the Integration (Optional): 



To ensure everything works as expected, submit a test lead through your Poper popup. The data from the test lead should appear in your chosen Enginemailer list within a short period.

Congratulations! You've successfully integrated Enginemailer with your Poper popup. Now, all leads captured through your popup will be automatically added to your Enginemailer list, allowing you to leverage Enginemailer's features to create targeted email campaigns, personalize communication with your leads, and nurture them towards conversions.
