Flodesk Integration

Boost your email marketing efforts by connecting Poper's powerful popup builder with Flodesk, a user-friendly email marketing platform. This guide will walk you through integrating Poper and Flodesk, ensuring leads captured through your popups are effortlessly added to your chosen Flodesk segments.

Prerequisites

  • A Poper account with an active popup campaign.
  • A Flodesk account.
  • An API key for your Flodesk account. (You can generate a new API key by navigating to your Profile > Integrations > API Keys within your Flodesk account.)

Setting Up the Poper and Flodesk Integration

Access Your Poper Popup:


Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Flodesk.

Open the Integrations Tab:


On the left side of the popup editor, locate the "Integrations" tab and click on it.

Select Flodesk Integration:


From the list of available integrations, choose "Flodesk."

Name Your Connection:


Provide a clear name for your Flodesk connection (e.g., Flodesk Leads). This will help you identify it later.

Enter Your Flodesk API Key:


In the designated field, paste your Flodesk API key that you obtained from your account settings.

Click "Next." Once you've entered your API key, click the "Next" button to proceed.

Select Flodesk Segment:


Flodesk will load all the segments (email lists) present in your account. Choose the specific segment where you want to add subscribers captured through your Poper popup.

Map Poper Fields to Flodesk:


This step allows you to match the data fields collected in your Poper popup form with the corresponding fields in your Flodesk segment. Use the dropdown menus to map each Poper field (e.g., email, name) to the appropriate Flodesk field.

(Optional) Add Custom Fields:

If your Flodesk segment has custom fields, you can utilize this section to define how Poper should populate those fields with data captured in your popup form.

Click "Connect." After completing the field mapping (and any custom field definitions), click the "Connect" button to establish the integration between Poper and Flodesk.

Test the Integration


To verify the functionality of the integration, submit a sample fake lead from your po. This will send a sample request to Flodesk, simulating a subscriber signup. Check your Flodesk account to confirm that the test subscriber was successfully added to the chosen segment.

Congratulations! With the Poper and Flodesk integration successfully set up, leads who submit their information through your Poper popup will be automatically added to your designated Flodesk segment. This allows you to nurture them with targeted email marketing campaigns and seamlessly grow your audience.
