Access Dashboard:
Log in to your Poper dashboard and click on "New Popup" to begin creating a new popup.
Choose Age Verification Template:
Navigate to the "Choose from Templates" section and search for "Age."
Select a prebuilt Age Verification template that suits your preferences.
Customize Design:
Once you've selected a template, a designer window will open. Customize the text, font, images, colors, and other elements to align with your branding and message.
Global Settings:
Ensure that "Hide Close Button" and "Disable Overlay Click Close" options are turned on in the Global Settings. This prevents users from closing the popup. If you use our templates, these options will be selected by default.
Set Triggers:
Go to the trigger settings and set the trigger to load the popup instantly (after 0 seconds) so that it is visible to users as soon as the page loads.
Disable 'Esc' Key:
Scroll down to Popup Close Triggers and select "Disable 'Esc' key to close the popup." This prevents users from closing the popup using the ESC key.
Set Display Logic:
In the AI & Audience Filtering section, select "When to stop displaying" after "Closing Popup." This ensures that the Age Verification Popup is not shown to users again after they confirm their age.
Save and Publish:
Once you've configured the settings, save and publish the popup. Test it on your live website to ensure it functions as expected.
